Weddings in Loudoun Open House 2018 | Kalero Vineyard | Northern Virginia Weddings

Kalero Vineyard-Loudoun Open House 2018-21.jpg

March 11th, 2018 was the Weddings in Loudoun Open House 2018 and I was at a newly opening venue, Kalero Vineyard in Purcellville, Virginia.   It’s surrounded by rolling hills that provide serene views of the sunset.  It’s a rustic barn that has been rebuilt and updated with beautiful finishes, including indoor heat and 3 bathrooms.  Despite the temperatures being in the 40s and a chance of snow in the evening, lots of people came out to browse through the vendors and explore this venue.

I was so excited to put together my first promotional table.  Opening up my sample metal prints from WHCC, I fell in love.  If you’ve never seen metal prints, I highly recommend them.  They provide a crisp and clear surface that allows the image to really be highlighted.  I prefer their semi matte finish to prevent glare from overhead lights. The colors are just so true and I received many compliments over them.  These have built in easels on the back so they can be set out or fold flat.   I also like how modern the metal prints look.  It’s a thick piece, maybe 3-5mm and the surface wipes off easily to remove fingerprints or dust.

I worked with Purcellville Florist and they provided me with this sweet smelling arrangement that I was ridiculously excited about picking up.  I know the vase looks blue, it’s a reflection of the blue sky coming through an adjacent window, it was actually white.

Overall, I tried to keep things simple and not overwhelm any of the couples as they strolled through.  I know how bombarded I felt back in the day when I was shopping for venues and vendors.  I’m secretly an introvert and today I’m definitely recovering from all that wonderful socialization.  I love my job and getting the opportunity to work with people, however, I give 110% so my tank was running on empty.
