Lydia Teague

Owner, Creative Director, & Lead Photographer

The only thing missing in this shot are my headphones. I listen to all kinds of music. Both old stuff like The Eagles and new stuff like BTS. Are we still friends after I admitted this?

I also smile a lot when I’m editing because I think about how much each moment means. Whether it’s a look that a Mom is giving their baby during a family session or when a Bride is dancing with her Grandpa, there’s SO much emotion packed into it.

I’m a planner. I research venues and look at Google maps to determine where all the shadows are going to fall during your event. Each season is different and then add ever-changing weather into the mix. You’ll never have to worry about any of it. I’m on top of it!

I spend a lot of time thinking about how to get a certain shot. Sometimes I need to buy a piece of gear to accomplish my vision, but most of the time it’s a different technique. I absolutely love working with people to get the best moments captured. Working hard means that I get the results that I want and I accept that challenge with every session.

Photography is my Therapy.

Our Working Relationship

From the moment you decide that I'm the PERFECT Wedding Photographer for you, I join your Team.  We will talk through your vision for the day and I will listen and give you suggestions and feedback along the way.

The next step is to schedule your Engagement Session so we can begin our "working relationship".  This is when you will see me in action and understand some posing basics.  And be prepared to LOVE your session, both during the shoot and after when you see your Online Gallery!

As you continue to hire your Team of Professionals, include me in the discussions with your Planner and Coordinator.  My Experience, when it comes to timing, will be beneficial to you.  I mean, we have to schedule sunset photos at sunset, right?

me in a nutshell

My Inspiration
My Family

Behind every photographer is a story about what inspires them to improve over time.  And I'm no different.  One of my favorite things to take photos of is my own family.  They're constantly moving and are always in different situations, which has just sharpened my skills over the years.  My Photography journey started in 2012 when my hubby gave me my first "big camera".  After that point it was just an obsession to get better so that my kids would have an amazingly documented childhood.
